APPLICATIONS

Insulated drainage channels are specially designed for situations where it is necessary to efficiently drain wastewater that might accumulate on the ceiling of a lower floor, while preventing water from penetrating into this lower floor. The problem arises when, over time, cracks appear in the joints of the floor covering or around the drainage channels. These cracks allow water to seep from the floor into the underlying concrete.

This water then accumulates on the insulation layer and can flow to the lower floor wherever the insulation is not optimal. Using an insulated drainage channel offers a solution to this problem. The design of the insulated drainage channel allows water that ends up in the insulation layer to be efficiently drained to the wastewater drainage system. This prevents the water from flowing to the lower floor, thereby reducing the risks of water damage.
